School Council

The members of the Hawksmoor School Council take on a variety of responsibilities around the school.  This year they will be planning and running several fundraising events; learning about a range of world issues and sharing them across the school; and will be involved in other activities throughout the year.

The School Councillors are elected by their classmates from years 2-6 because they are considered to be dedicated, hard-working and display all of the Hawksmoor Values.  They are excellent role models not just for the children in their own classes but across the school.

Meet Our School Council

Our elections for our brand new School Council for 2024-2025 are currently taking place and will be appointed within the next few weeks!

Head Student Team

The Head Student team at Hawksmoor serve as role models and representatives for the student body. Their responsibilities often include helping with school events, supporting younger students, and promoting positive behaviour around the school at all times, while also acting as a link between students and staff. You will often see the Head students at events walking the school with parents and discussing why Hawksmoor is great!

The School Council at Hawksmoor is a group of elected students who represent their classmates in discussions about school improvements and activities. Unlike the Head Student Team, who serve as individual leaders, the school council works as a team to voice the opinions and ideas of all students, helping to make decisions that affect the whole school community. They collaborate with staff to address issues such as playground equipment, fundraising, and school policies.
